"I dont understand? What do you girls mean, Lost Vegas?" Your tone of voice heald a slightly worried edge seeing that your parents and most of your family was from Vegas. Maka takes a small step forward and after knealing down, she places a gentle hand on your knee.

"J-John-kun...Las Vegas....was destroyed by Kishin over a hundred years ago.." As the words left Maka's mouth, your eyes glazed over. "Th-Then...my parents....my freinds.."

Suddenly you feel a soft and gentle nuzzleing sensation comeing from your cheek. "Please dont be sad John-kun, Blair doesnt like seeing you sad.."

Soul trys to take a dramatic poise and thrust's her fist into the air. "Y-yeah, you got us now Johnny-kun! S-So cheer up, it's un-cool to be sad, ya know?" Maka nods in agreement.

"Ok, I know when I'm beat, I guess I'll just make the best of a bad situation and start my life over again." The mood of your new freinds brightens up conciderably as you flash them a small but sincear smile.

"That's the spirit John-kun! Blair just knows you'll do great, and so does the spirit in your sword!" Soul and Maka look to blair in confusion. "Soul in the sword? What are you talking about Blair? That's not a demon weapon?"

Soul leans closer to the little kitten. "If it's not a demon wepon...then what is it?"

Blair cocks her head slightly. "Blair doesnt know Soul-chan, all Blair knows is that John-kun's sword is alive." This only seems to fuel the duo's confusion. "If it's alive, why doesnt it show it's self then?"

You look down at the sword in your lap and gently grasp the hilt. "Maybe it cant...."

Maka cups her chin with her hand slightly. "We should really talk with Shinigami-sama about this..." Now YOU are the confused one, "Um...Maka-chan, Who's this Shinigami-sama person?"
