New Student Orientation

The small, dimly lit auditorium was almost anachronistic, with architecture that would have been more appropriate for an old theater than a school. The brightest lights were illuminating a seat in the very center of the room, the row of chairs pointed directly at a screen. Dave hesitantly walked towards the illuminated seat.

"Please be seated for New Student Orientation, Stephanie Anne Adams." the female voice returned.

"I keep trying to tell you, I'm not Stephanie!"

"Failure to do so will result in consequences."

Not wanting to take any chances, Dave just crossed the room and sat in the illuminated chair. It was facing towards a large screen, which then blinked to life and a loud fanfare began blaring from hidden speakers in the wall. On the screen, an older gentleman in a white coat appeared and started speaking.

"Greetings. I am Doctor Terence Thornbrush, esteemed inventor and founder of Dr. Thornbrush’s School for Wayward Girls. You girls have been dealt a terrible hand in life. Society has turned their backs on you, and you've become degenerate **** addicts or otherwise unsavory types. But that can change. I believe that all a woman needs is a firm hand to guide them and they can become a functional member of society who contributes to their community. My school exists to provide that guiding hand, to give you the skills and assets necessary to rejoin polite society through placement in jobs that will best serve your skillset. Your performance here will determine your placement, but trust me, all of the placement we do provides a benefit to society, so no graduate will be left worse than when they arrived." the man, Dr. Thornbrush, spoke.

"This is insane!" Dave thought. "I'm getting out of here!"

Dave gripped the armrests with his manicured fingers, intending to push himself into a standing position, but instead, metal restraints snapped shut around his wrists.

_"Do not attempt to stand up until New Student Orientation has concluded, Stephanie Anne Adams." _the voice chirped.

"Throughout your stay here, you will learn, or perhaps relearn, how to contribute to society and your community through our patented set of instructional classes that will cover every skill that you'll need in your new lives. Every girl that enters my school leaves better for it, and we hope that you will see that willingly, but we won't hesitate to convince you. Thank you for listening and thank you to whoever sent you here, because they just want what's best for you and your future. Good luck, girls, and I look forward to seeing you graduate."

The screen faded to black and the restraints released, along with another door opening on the far side of the room. Dave wastes no time rushing out of the auditorium.
