New Beginnings

Ghorza stumbled out of the destroyed hovel, ignoring the silent masses of rebels who stared at her in disbelief. Their leader, gone. Their purpose, gone. Their cause, in disarray. One by one, they dropped their weapons, letting them clank harmlessly onto the village road, before disappearing into the forest.

It wasn’t long before the ogre was by herself. She weakly pushed open the flimsy wooden door leading into the rebel HQ. Trudging past the silent, empty cages which housed prisoners. Past the **** chambers specifically created for monster girls. And down a set of stairs leading into the basement.

“H-hello…?” A voice! A weak smile crept across her face - it was her man. “A-ADAM…” she muttered low, using the final ounce of strength she had to left to kick open the basement door. It shattered into thousands of wooden slivers, toppling over on it’s side.

Looking inside his cell, she saw - what the? - a nude Adam, completely unharmed. No cuts, bruises, or a mark on his body. But by God, the place stunk of chlorine. Her one-track mind didn’t care. All that mattered was her baby - she was his, forever.

A bright grin met Ghorza, “Baby, you came for me…”

“I NEVER LEAVE YOU.” She broke into a wobbly smile, a tear trailed down her cheek. Limping over to the New Worlder, she tore off the knotted rope bounding him into the chair.

“Oh my God…” he said, eyes affixed to the broken body of his wife. “We need to get you to a doctor, Ghorza.”

She shook her head, “NO… I FINE.”

“LET’S GO HOME.”
