Why it’s everyone’s favourite Ice cream girl Neopolitan of course! I cannot begin to describe the fear that’s coursing through my veins at this very moment right now as Neo querked an eyebrow at me.

I took a few steps back from her merely for my own safety. “S-Sorry! Guess that’s what I get for standing in the middle of the doorway.” I let out a nervous chuckle, scratching at the back of my neck.

I was torn between running for my dear life or admiring how adorable this psychopath killer looked. Like seriously! She wasn’t wearing a disguise or anything! Only wearing the same sundae theme get-up from the show. And her eyes. Her eyes man! I’ve never met anyone with different coloured eyes, but Neo’s brown and pink eyes were the definition of cuteness.

Neo tilts her head to the side cutely, offering me a sweet smile that almost sends me into a coma. “Can I just say you are sooo adorable.” I blurt out with full conviction.

Neo gets taken back by my sudden comment, before composing herself and shooting me another smile bursting with cuteness.

I actually felt my heart skip a beat for a second there. “I just need to know how… how someone like you can be so adorable?” I question, **** for answers.

Neo simply responds with a shrug.

To think she’s even a criminal. “Oh uh, where are my manners! I’m John.” I introduce myself, holding out my hand to her.

Neo observes my hand for a few seconds, before eventually grabbing ahold of it and giving me a firm handshake. She soon lets go of of it and reaches into her back pocket, pulling out what I assume is a scroll. Which now that I see in person looks more like a sleek iPhone with the only difference being the holographic screen in the middle. She types out something quick and twists the screen around, holding it up to my face.

Names Neo :)

Sorta already knew that. “We’ll it’s good to meet you, Neo.” I smile.

Have to say, I’m a bit surprised she’s even talking to me or texting, I should say. Kinda imagine she’d brush me off and walk away. Yet here she is indulging me, can’t help but wonder if this is one of my powers coming into play? It’d have to be In Control or Team CMEN, I wonder if it’s possible to go back in time and high five myself for picking some good choices.

“We should probably start moving. You want to walk with me?” I ask Neo, gesturing over to the giant ass tower.

Neo ponders for a moment and taps her chin in a cute manner, before nodding. She joins my side as we both start making our way towards Beacon.

‘So far so good.’

I was not expecting to meet Neo straight off the bat, maybe during initiation but not at the freaking entrance of the place!? Though I couldn’t help but wonder where Cinder and Emerald are. Since picking Team CMEN as one of my combo powers, certain events would change to make them show up here. Especially when I’m going to be on the same team as them.

A wave of nerves shakes throughout my body thinking about that upcoming issue.

Neo picks up on this and throws me a questionable look. “Oh it’s nothing… I’m just nervous about this whole thing.” I carefully explain, Neo probably thinks I’m simply talking about first day jitters.

It’s not like I can talk about the fact I’ll be stuck in a room with three highly dangerous villains. I’ll just have to convince Cinder to leave Beacon alone and things should turn out fine… I hope so. For now, I should just focus on Neo. Mainly because the awkward silence is starting to bother me.

Glancing down at her waist, restraining myself from focusing too long on her lushes curves. Instead I pushed that focus onto a familiar pink umbrella that’s clipped to her belt.

“Sooo…” Neo turns towards me. “You expecting it to rain or something?” I question, letting a smirk grace my lips as I gesture towards Neo’s umbrella.

She looks down at her Umbrella, before sporting a mischievous look and smiles back at me. Plucking it from her belt and giving it a slight twirl for show, before finally letting it pop open and placing it up on her shoulder. Batting her eyelashes all so innocently at me in the end.

‘She seems to get cuter every second.’

“I mean it certainly adds to the whole cute look-“ My breath hitches as she holds a sharp needle, probing out from the tip of the umbrella up against the bottom of my chin.

We stop walking as I carefully eye the needle pressed against my chin. “And with a major hint of cute but deadly, I might add.” I finish, fear edging it’s way into my words.

To my relief she pulls her Umbrella away and sheathes the needle, clipping it back to her belt with a satisfied look. I guess I got too comfortable and forgot she was a dangerous sociopath for a minute.

I give my chin a brief rub. “Did you have to shove a needle against my throat?” I said, giving Neo a questionable look.

Neo pulls her scroll out and quickly types into it at a pretty impressive rate.

Wouldn’t have been as funny! :D

I read off her scroll, giving her a deadpan look. “I think you and I need to figure out what’s considered funny.” I state.

A teasing smile finds her lips as she lifts her scroll again.

What are you packing?

‘What I’m I packing?’

I lower my gaze down my body, specifically one area-

I meant your weapon.

Now I just feel like an idiot. “Of course that’s what you meant! Why wouldn’t it be!” I say laughing out the embarrassment I’m feeling.

Neo stared at me with amusement.

Well perhaps you can show me your “sword” another time~ ;)

A blush made its presence known on my face.

‘Did Neo just flirt with me? Was In Control starting to take effect on her?’

“Do you say that to everyone you meet?” I question.

Only the cute ones. ;)

I smile feeling quite flattered. “You really know how to butter a guy up.” Neo winks at me.

*BOOM*

I was starting to wonder when that would happen. Neo and I turn towards the direction of the explosion and see a familiar girl dressed in all white, yelling at good old red riding hood. I couldn’t help but wince at the sight of Weiss lecturing Ruby. Neo on the other hand seemed to take pleasure in watching the whole thing.

Usually this would be the moment when someone jumps in and saves Ruby from Weiss' wrath. They’d always either do it by either mocking Weiss or defending Ruby from her. Which usually results in establishing an earlier friendship with one of the main characters.
