Negotiations don’t go as expected

Maggie opens the door calls out to Gregory

“Gregory?”

he turns his desk to face her “Natalie right?”

she corrects him “Maggie”

he shrug raising his right hand dismissively “that’s pretty close right?”

Maggie tilts her head deciding to be diplomatic she shrugs nodding her head in agreement “I suppose so”

Gregory chuckles getting up form his chair “friendly and agreeable I like that come sit let’s chat”

she closes the door behind her and moves further from the door and closer into the room as he lightly patted her lower back somewhat ushering her toward the painting he approaches behind Maggie looked up starring at the portrait hanging on the wall

Gregory noticed her interest in the painting smirking “I came to this place one before when it was a museum, this chamber of commerce thing. loved that painting I never figured it would be mine but here it is like it was waiting for me the whole time....” he trailed off slowly walking closer to her till he was inches behind her

“maybe just like you” as he started to message her ass Maggie’s eyes widen feeling this she started to moan she then turned to face him she smiled then winked “maybe”

Maggie then sat down crossing her legs Gregory starts things off “Jesus told me you saved doctor Carson. Doctors are a rare commodity these days so I’d like to thank you for bringing ours back”

Maggie smiled nodding “my husband saved him”

Gregory shrugged “well I’ll be sure to thank him” rather quickly in a dismissive and slightly annoyed tone Maggie than moved some of her hair to the side of her face “so we were hoping to talk trade do you have enough for that?”

Gregory scoffed “I do but we cant and wont be doing that”

Maggie’s eyes widen surprised at Gregory’s selfishness “what? Why not we need food our people our starving please!”

Gregory snorted “you see what I have what I’ve built Jesus already told me your food situation was low. You don’t keep people fed it comes apart. Lets speak the common tongue here huh? You don’t have shit to trade.

Maggie hanged her head in shame realizing he was right they were low on everything and there seemed like there was nothing they could do

Gregory smiled at Maggie’s look of hopelessness “Now I’d like to help out I’m a nice guy but we can’t just give things away for free so how’s this since you can’t offer much I’ll let your people work here for their share you’d be a welcome addition to the community a smart, beautiful woman getting back to that common tongue I can make it worth your while”

Maggie slightly blushed with her heart quickly beating she stands up looks away from him “I can’t, I shouldn’t I have a husband he wouldn’t approve” as she placed a hand on her chest

Gregory got up slowly approaching her “listen honey he don’t have to know”

Gregory reached over grabbed her ass hard she jumped slightly turning around to face him in shock
