Find Paul
Near the bar
Paul stands waiting at the bar, the bartender hand him two drinks. He hands one off to you as you approach, “It’s your favorite, a Mai Thai.”
“Thanks”, you take it, more nervous than you thought, you gulp it.
“Ha, that’s my girl” he chugs his too. He sees the distress in your face and asks if you’re okay.
“I’m was confused, and I’m not now, Bare with me, I’ve been drinking”, you stammer, “I don’t know what happens after this trip. Too much has changed between us, can we really go back to being just roommates? “ You put your hand on his chest. “I love you, Paul. I don’t want to return to being just Aaron, I need to be your Erin.”
His face alights with joy and he hugs you, lifts you and spins around. You kiss him deeply.
“I love you too, Erin” You linger together in this moment.
