NYE: Clubbing-Leah doesn't kiss him.

As the crowd around them erupted in celebration, Leah felt a twinge of guilt and panic. She couldn't believe she had almost let things go too far with a stranger when she was engaged to Jonathan.

"Sorry...I am engaged." Leah said holding up her ring finger. The diamond dazzled in the lights. Michael seemed disappointed but understanding.

"I understand. I hope you have a great year ahead," he said before disappearing into the crowd.

Leah took a deep breath and looked around for Jonathan, wanting nothing more than to find him and get out of there. But he was nowhere in sight. Just as she was about to give up hope, she spotted him at the bar. He smiled and gave her a big kiss and they wished eachother a happy New Year.

“Ready to get out of here?” He asked.

“Absolutely.” she nodded in agreement just in case he couldn’t hear over the loud club music.

“We are too old to be out this late ha ha ha.” Jonathan said as Leah joined him in laughing before joining him in an Uber.

“Wait did Sam get home okay?” Leah asked as she shut her car door, she put her hand back on the door ready to leave again.

“Yeah she left in a Uber before I found you. She asked after you. I said I would stay and find you. Its cold as fuck out so I told her go on home. Don’t worry.” Jonathan explained.

“Okay great.” Leah kissed him. “You are such a great one. A keeper.”

They headed home and were soon fast asleep in their comfy bed.
