Mysteries abound

The morning was normal. Kevin went down for breakfast and ate with his aunt and cousins. Kennedy must have slept in but that wasn't abnormal. Michelle arrived and his cousins went to lesson as he made his way to school. He ran into Amy on campus and asked her how the semester was going, she complained she needed to spend more time in the library but her job at her mother's restaurant made it hard to find time. She slammed her hand down on the table and glared at Sue who suddenly looked scared. Anita asked "Sue, do you need to have another talk with Mr. Hairbrush?" Sue violently shook her head 'no' and looked down avoiding everyone's eyes. Penny started to grin during this exchange but quickly suppressed it as Anita looked away from Sue. Kennedy awkwardly got up to put her empty plate away. Kevin soon followed and went upstairs to study but fell asleep at his desk.

Kevin woke up in the middle of the night and went to the kitchen to get water. He heard noises from his aunt's room and went to check on her.
