Mother-Step Daughter Bonding Trip

Gayle Lomax and her step-daughter Sheila used to get along.

Then Sheila graduated from college, moved back home, and could not find a job...or more precisely, a job she would accept, and Gayle grew more and more frustrated with her until the two were always fighting.

Mr. Lomax suggested the two go on a vacation together to smooth things out. Gayle protested now that Sheila was "broke and lazy and didn't deserve a vacation," and Shiela protested Gayle was just jealous because she dropped out of college years ago.

Mr. Lomax insisted, and the two went off to the casino.
