I look at the quest, apparently having completed it with only getting one 'oath'. I guess what I did counted? "Thanks for the boon, Ramel. Or, whichever of you gave it to me..." A few moments later, I notice Ramel's Favor. "Huh...becoming Ramel's priest might not be a bad thing... I doubt Carn would complain about being a priest of the god of fertility." I chuckle. I might get some decent boons, and some defensive magic too, but I'd also be splitting my level progression even more... Maybe I should check what features Gilford has before I commit either way. Looking through my other recently acquired features, it seems that becoming Lord of Riverbend unlocked a handful of 'synergies' that are pretty useful, but that I only briefly glimpsed last time.

Then my eyes lock onto another quest. Mel and Carn want to talk, huh? Should I contact them through Reala?...or maybe I should try to find Hali... "Wait, why am I even considering this right now!?" I rub my temples. "Agh, damn Toran and your stupid test!"

I wake up, finding myself...not where I remember. I sit up from the plush bed I'm on and look around, finding myself in a luxurious bedroom. I rub the bedsheets between my fingers. Silk? I hear a knock on the door. "Come in?"

The door opens, and two women walk in, the one on my left in some shiny full-plate armor, and the one on my right in what looks like a nightgown made from the same cloth as the bedsheets. Nephilim? I'm not the only one? "My lord," the one on my left begins, "we have something we'd like to discuss with you."

That voice sounds familiar. "Lilac?"

She nods, brushing her silver hair back. "Lia, actually. And this is my sister-wife, Terra."

The other woman smiles widely and waves exaggeratedly, her bubbly voice one that sounds like the kind you give the dumb, friendly bimbo in media. "Nice to meet you, New-Master!"

I blink. "You got your memory back?"

"Some," Lia continues. "I...I'm sorry. Neither of us remember how or why we're here..."

"Don't worry about it." I wave my hand dismissively. "I'm a lot more concerned about what you said earlier today..."

She raises her hand and holds her other arm around the elbow, embarrassed. "Apologies. I may have mistaken you for our previous master."

Terra giggles. "I might've too. You look, like, exactly like him."

Lia coughs. "He left us and our fellow sister-wives one night, and we haven't seen a trace of him since. Seeing you now, though, in a dreamscape, it's clear you're not the same man."

I look down, seeing my human body, a bit more 'less than average' than the guise I tend to use with polymorph. "Yeah, I used to be human. Still weird to say honestly."

I furrow my brow, surprised. "What?"

"Or maybe it was a dwarf..." She lowers her hand and raises a finger to her mouth as she looks up, thinking.

"And I believe I was a succubus, which is why I know so much about them, and was able to pull you both into this dreamscape." Lia nods.

"...maybe it was an elf?..."

"Our previous master transformed us into nephilim, but I am not sure how. That seems to be another memory neither of us have retained in our reincarnations." She looks down. "I'm sorry we can't be of more use to you, my lord."

Terra gasps, hands clapped to her cheeks. "Lia, you didn't!" She flaps her wings, quickly landing on the foot of the king-sized bed. "New-Master, it's time for me to, like, really introduce myself!" Her grin turns into a smirk as she pulls the silk sheet away, completely exposing me.

"L-Lia, do you mind filling me in?" I glance to the other woman, covering my crotch with my hands.

She slowly nods her head upward. "I see. This is regarding something Demona remembered last night. She was able to point the direction to several possible dungeons in the region last night."

"Did she describe it well enough that you could point them out on a map?"

"Unfortunately no. However, she said that if she was presented with one, she could pinpoint the ones she remembers, or she could lead the way herself at night."

I nod. "Mother and-, Miki and Kaguya should be making one. Is that all? It's hardly something to come so early in the morning..." I glance up at the sky, seeing that it's probably just about dawn.

"I also wanted to apologize, S-, Ma'am. Even with your best interests at heart, my behavior last night was unacceptable."

I cross my arms and sigh. "I'm not going to say it was unwarranted, though." Tapping my finger, I think. "Let's just put it behind us. Would you like some tea? I was just about to prepare so-..." What? I stop myself. 'I' was just about to make some tea? I just woke up...

"No, thank you. I need to check on Monsquad. Have a safe day, Ma'am." Belinda salutes before walking off across the dirt 'street'.

"...you too..." I hold my head as I close the door. Better let Kara do her thing... I blink, and I'm back to being pinned down by a bunch of sleeping women. "If you're making it, of course." I whisper back, without using magic, since I know she can hear me. "I never used to like tea before I had yours."

She smiles, walking around the bed to the counter. Huh, I guess Cammy really did move in... "I'm glad you approve. You're going to be drinking a lot of it in the future."

The future... "Wait, what are you doing here this early?"

"You're out of prison, I'm of age, and you have my Hoshi no Tama. Tradition demands that I move in with you."

That's definitely something to ask about in the future...probably something to do with her homeland. "Thanks for your help, Kara, especially this last week. I probably would have wasted all that time away if not for you and your mother."

"If you want to thank me, take care of Cammy. You already know how reckless she can be when it comes to her safety."

I chuckle again, looking at the sleeping brunette on my shoulder. "Yeah, you're not wrong..."

"Mmm..." I feel shifting on my chest, and look down to see a certain goblin looking back up at me. "Good morning, Chief..."

Defaulting to goblin, huh? I wonder if that's 'spreading' to other parts of her personality... "Morning, Eve. You want some tea?"

She gives a soft chuckle, closing her eyes as she snuggles against me. "Sure, but I don't know how you're gonna make it when you're pinned down like this."

"Who said I was making it?"

"Hm?" She opens her eyes and pushes away, looking past me. "Oh. Sorry, Kara."

"Thanks." Eve smiles. "I'll be up to help with breakfast in a moment." The goblin snuggles back up to me, her smile sticking around.

"You know," Camilla groans, "you're both a lot louder than you think..."

I chuckle. "I've been told. How are...you both feeling? I had a talk with both your 'friends' last night."

Camilla immediately looks to Eve. "You accepted her offer already?"

The goblin nods. "She was very...let's say convincing and please leave it at that."

I gulp. "I know what you mean..."

Feeling an elbow in my side, the captain speaks up. "I was told..." She pauses, rubbing my arm affectionately. "Dusk...you'll tell us if you...you'll bring all of us with you if you need to leave suddenly, right?"

I rub her arm back. "Is this Lia asking, or Camilla?"

"...maybe a bit of both..."

I sigh, thinking through it. "I can't say what I'll do if it's really sudden, or if someone's life is on the line...but if I do, I'll do what I can to keep us all together." I squeeze her tight, kissing her forehead before doing the same for Eve.

"[D] Are we going somewhere?" I immediately look to my right, but the Em-, Diana is still asleep. Looking down, I see some beautiful ruby red eyes staring up at me.

I chuckle. "[D] Not anytime soon, Violet." Looking at her, she seems to have grown even more. Probably around five years old in human terms. She'll be an adult by the end of next week...

Eve turns to look at the young hornet. "[D] Why would we leave? This is our home."

Violet smiles for a second before blinking, and gasping. "[D] Auntieve...understands me?" She begins shaking - although it's a little more like punching - her mother awake. "[D] Mommy! Auntieve understands us now!"

"[D] Be quiet, I'm still-" Diana's eyes burst open, and she suddenly and very forcefully pushes herself away from me, revealing Daisy stirring on the other side of where she sat. "[D] Of course..."

Kara catches my attention with a swish of one of her three tails. "Am I making tea and breakfast for everyone, Dusk?"

"Might as well. Need any help?"

She waves me off. "You've got enough on your plate. Let the ladies handle this one. Eve, can you and the Empress help?"

Eve groans slightly into my chest before forcing herself away. "I'm on it. [D] We're helping Kara with breakfast."

I stretch, my body now mostly free from my bedmates. "Her name's Diana, by the way. She came up with it all on her own."

Kara sashays her tails. "That's nice. At least we won't be referring to her as royalty from now on."

All of us who understand that chuckle, much to Diana's chagrin. "[D] What are you laughing about?"
