What happens?
Morning Routine.
Monty was woken up by his mommy. "Mommy" being what she wants him to call her. To him, she's a prison guard.
Everyone in the colony is assigned a "Mommy Unit" and a "Daddy Unit". Humanoid robots that tower over the average human to make their infantilization more immersive. They took care of all the humans; feeding them, bathing them, changing them, and so on. When they weren't taking care of their precious not-so little ones, they would perform integral tasks, whether it was keeping the moon city clean, performing computational work, or ensuring that the dome protecting the city from the airless vacuum of the moon was maintained.
Speaking of, Mommy placed Monty on his back as she undid the tapes of his diaper and wiped him clean, Mony having wet his nighttime diaper in his sleep, before wrapping him back up in a new diaper. Even if she didn't strap him down, the higher gravity mixed with his grogginess made getting up impossible.
Next to him on the other changing table, Daddy was changing Ivan. He was about Monty's age. He was chubby, which only looked baby-fat given the lack of any excess body hair that was lasered off of on a weekly basis.
Unlike Monty, Ivan didn't mind being babied. When Monty asked, Ivan told him that his "birth mommy" had moved with her husband to the colony when she was still pregnant with him. They were designated "families" and infantilized, and when Ivan was born, he was administered into Obasaan's adoption program and assigned robot guardians to care for him.
The idea that a married couple would knowingly move to Obasaan and choose to break up their family like this sounded insane. He literally couldn't comprehend it.
Ivan didn't seem to mind though. He had been in diapers his whole life. He's been pampered and doted on and babied in the twenty something years he's been alive. Beneath the chubbiness of his cheeks and tummy-tum were the muscles of a person who was accustomed to the high gravity and was perfectly capable of walking, yet he chose to crawl around on the carpet.
Plus he got to see his birth parents at daycare every other day. The two of them played the role of foster siblings and could have been confused for Ivan's kindergarten friends. Even their diapers matched.
Monty met them too. He was technically Ivan's foster-brother, after-all. Everywhere Ivan went, he went too.
