More carefree, but still a little nervous

You and Siora are much more carefree this morning. Now that you both have some clothes, you don't have to worry about standing out if someone notices you. Though you are out of the forest today, you are still in the middle of the rural countryside and thus don't see many other travelers this morning, so you don't have to worry about anyone getting too close.

You both quickly realize you haven't eaten in a long time. However, nobody will notice you plundering a couple apples a piece, so you each grab a handful and quickly devour them as you continue down the dirt road. As the sun rises further and further from the horizon the road gets more busy, mostly with laborers on the local farms and orchards making their way around the area. You are thankful that they seem to be too busy with their tasks at hand to pay any attention to either of you.

By mid-morning you begin seeing less traffic along this country road. Thought that should relieve your anxiousness, many of the people you now pass along the way pay more attention to the two of you. At one point you even get catcalled by a traveling merchant at the head of his cart of goods. You can't help but blush and cower at his words, but Siora just smiles and waves, taking the whole thing in stride.

By the time the sun is high in the sky you finally arrive at a small farming village. As you walk down the main street it is fairly quiet. The village is fairly quiet as most of the residents are out in the fields and orchards getting work done, but there is still plenty for the two of you to stop and check out.
