Monstrum amateur sport event

The Monstrum Amateur sporting event was an annual charity event held in Monstrum with a similar vibe to the Olympics. However, it was strictly for amateur/casual athletes who could try out in a variety of sports. There was an entry fee for each sport competed in and for spectators. Each competitor earned points for first, second, or third in any one sport. The total points would be counted, with cash prizes for first, second, and third. This encouraged people to try out multiple different sports, pay more entry fees (more for charity) to increase their chance of winning a cash prize. Entering more than 5 sports would see you paying more than you would win. This was designed to let a wide range of people compete. However, some competitive players would do so just to be the winner.

The rest of the proceeds would go to charity. If you competed in a paired sport, they were worth double points, and a team sport triple. Paired sports often saw friends or couples joining together. Teams were often made at random.
