Does Monica take the job? What happens at the interview?
Monica has no choice
Eventually, Monica's wallet decided for her. She was delinquent on student loans and had no income. If she didn't make rent this month, she'd be homeless and in debt. She need the job. So, she called back Nathan Johnson's office.
"This is Monica Robinson, I'm calling about the special correspondent position..."
"Ah, Miss Robinson!" The cheery voice came over the phone. "Come by tomorrow at 8 AM for the interview. Be sure to arrive a little early."
"Thank you." Monica hung up the phone. Well, her path was set. She should be thrilled. This was the job in journalism she'd dreamed of for years... so why did she feel so much trepidation about tomorrow?
