Misunderstanding In The Shower

The next day, I woke up more than a little stressed. I mean the power and opportunities this necklace gives me is amazing. But it also gave my life a lot more pressure, specifically from the Exquisite Gentlemen Organization. My mind kept drifting back to Vinnie's "joke". How easily he broke in and how they've been keeping track of all my moves since I got the necklace. Feeling stressed thinking of my surprise meeting last night, I decided to step into the bathroom for a shower.

I was so deep in my own head that I didn't even notice the water was running in the shower when I walked into the bathroom. After splashing cold water on my face, I turn towards the shower to see Rae showering, equally as unaware of my presence as I was of hers.

I was only staring for a few moments before Rae opened her eyes and was shocked to see me. "John what the hell? Get out! How long have you been peeping at me? I'm telling Mother!"

Shit! If Vina hears about this there's no way she doesn't kick me to the streets. Even after starting to see me as family. I need to fix this quick or my attempts to make the mother daughter duo mine will go down the drain.

I focused all my energy on my next words, "Rae relax, You know how close we are. Seeing each other naked isn't a big deal. Besides if you tell Vina she might separate us again. You wouldn't want to be kept separated from your Big Bro again, would you?"

It took a moment for my words to sink into Rae's mind but she eventually let out a small laugh. "Big bro if you needed to come in, all you had to do was say something first. You scared me. I thought some random pervert was peeping in on me. It's fine if it's you but what if it was some pervert."

"Sorry sis. I just need to get ready. I was planning to head to class early today. Didn't realize you were here til I saw you." I said sheepishly.

"Gosh you're such an airhead sometimes. It's okay just make sure to pay attention. Mother would lose it if she saw us. Luckily she's at work right now."

We chatted a little more before I left to go to my college. I don't actually have any classes today but I'd have plenty of targets to impress E.G.O. with.
