Minako dozes off

Despite her best efforts to stay awake, Minako's will slowly wore down as the hours passed by. It had been a very long week. Between school, social events, and Tartarus, all she wanted more than anything at that moment was to just curl up in her cozy, fluffy bed and sleep until the afternoon. Instead, she was freezing her literal butt off on cold, rough concrete, unable to even scratch her nose out of fear that she would be spotted.

She considered just bolting for it. By this point, she was **** enough that all she wanted was to get back to where it was safe and warm, even if that meant giving a bunch of strangers a little peep show. After all, she might get sick if she stayed out here all night! But just as she mustered her nerve to do so, something other than fear stopped her. Both of her legs weren't moving at all. They had gone numb from the cold!

By waiting for so long, her body had succumbed to exhaustion and began to fall asleep. Upon realizing that her legs were now as stiff and immobile as the surrounding statues of the shrine, it was as if a chain reaction had begun. The rest of her body quickly followed suit, collapsing fully on the ground with a soft pat.

As Minako's senses slowly seeped away, she thought she could hear the strangers' voices in the distance. She could only hope that she hadn't alerted them to her presence, especially now that she could no longer lift a finger to defend herself. Mentally cursing her overall situation as well as Fuuka for leaving her high and dry, Minako soon lost consciousness.

Completely exhausted as she was, the next few hours passed in the blink of an eye for her. The good news was that Minako had succeeded in keeping hidden from the other people, who soon left the shrine to head back home for the night. The bad news was that someone else would later find the sleeping beauty, interrupting her much-needed rest with rude and unwelcome prodding. Dazed from her ordeals and groggily raising her head, Minako blinked in surprise as she beheld-
