Mercedes von Martritz, Would You Kindly?

Mercedes was eager to start her academy life at Garreg Mach Monastery. After her tumultuous life in both the Empire and the Kingdom, being surrounded by friends now instead of enemies was a nice change of pace.

She was asleep in her bed when she had a strange dream. A bright ball of light.

"My dear Mercedes," the light said. "I am a forgotten goddess. I am bestowing upon you a special ability. All you have to do is ask anyone 'would you kindly' followed by a command, and they will follow it happily, no matter how out of character it would be for them to do what you asked. And others will think the person is acting as normal if the target or yourself stated that you asked them kindly."

When Mercedes woke up the next morning, her dream was still fresh in her mind. Did she really have this new ability? It seemed impossible, but Mercedes had studied up on old deities, so it didn't seem too farfetched. But why would one come to her?

She combed her hair, got dressed (she slept in the nude), and got ready for class, hoping she would have an opportunity to test her new power.
