"By the way, you look stunning," you say sincerely. Gabrielle merely returns a polite smile, so you continue, "Seriously. That dress is a knockout, your necklace is beautiful, your hair is perfect... you might be the most beautiful girl I've ever met."
"Well, thank you," she replies coolly.{if Body>30%} "Your suit looks handsome on you too."{endif}
You lapse back into silence, realising your topic is a bit of a dead end. You soon reach the restaurant and take your seats, but although you try to start up the conversation again, Gabrielle seems a bit distracted, or worse, bored, giving a short, polite response as you talk about they kind of seafood you like. This is going nowhere.
