Meeting the new girl.

Opening the door, I let Beast Girl inside. Raven bit her lip. "Beast Boy? What happened to you?" she asked in shock. Beast Girl folded her wings. It seemed that she was unable to do the shapeshifting of her male cartoon counterpart. Instead, she had animal features on her as it was. Nothing horrific or anything.

On her head was a pair of Cat-like ears, sticking out from her usual short cropped hair. Her hand were without gloves, most likely due to the webbing between them. It was a thin membrane, probably designed for swimming. A prehensial tail poked out from behind her. Still, very cute.

Sighing, Beast Girl shrugged. "Same thing that happened to you, I guess. Some guy tried to play tic-tac-toe with my genes or something. But since I could already turn into stuff, all it did is screw things up and put me in park, you know?" She seemed quite sad about it. I invited her in.

"So what brings you here?" I asked, still a bit puzzled. Beast Girl poked her nose. "I was tracking Raven. I smelled traces of her and started following," she explained. Raven sighed. "Beast B...um...Girl, I guess...it wasn't someone mucking with our genes...at least not the one who did this to me. It was Mumbo. John defeated him and saved me." Upon saying this, she kissed my cheek.

This made Beast Girl perk up. "Well now! Look at you, Raven! You naughty bunny! Already went and scored yourself a boyfriend!" she teased. I could sense jealousy in her voice though. It wouldn't last if I had anything to say about it. "You're welcome to stay," I said. Beast Girl bit her lip, thinking.
