Meeting the Crew

You head up the steps and over to the seating area where the women all begin to sit down.
Maria, the doctor from earlier appears to be absent, presumably still showering.
Everyone sits down at the table, with a strikingly beautiful, alluring woman with tan skin and silver hair sitting at the head. She motions for you to sit down across from her.

"Hello, Roy Radford. My name is Destiny Adi Moore.
I am the captain of this unit and pilot of this ship," she introduces herself, her demeanor stoic yet commanding.

"Uh hi. Yeah, the examination went well," you respond nervously.

She nods in approval. "Good. DOT told me she gave you the rundown of the situation and your role in our project. I trust you are okay with being a part of our mission?" she asks, her tone unwavering.

You nod meekly in response.

"Good. I gathered us here so you could meet the crew and members of the project. Maria seems to be running late, but seeing as you've already met her, she can introduce herself last. I'd like you to introduce yourself first," she instructs you.

You pause, feeling a sense of unease. "Umm...the thing is...I don't seem to really remember anything about myself at all," you admit hesitantly.

Destiny's eyes briefly widen, her expression betraying a hint of concern.
"I see...maybe it's an after effect of being in cryosleep for too long."

"Well then, let me give you an update on the situation," she states.
"According to our reports, Earth was destroyed about 5 years ago. A mass nuclear war amidst the FALLOUT wiped out humanity on Earth. We, along with a few other units heading towards different planets, are all that's left. This spaceship has been running on autopilot for about 7 years and about 6 months ago, the rest of the crew besides yourself awoke from cryosleep to prepare for landing. We should be arriving at our destination, the planet Alloras, in about 8 months," she explains calmly.

You nod your head, absorbing the information with a mix of shock and disbelief.

"If that's clear, the rest of the crew is ready to introduce themselves," Destiny announces, her voice firm yet reassuring.
