Meet the crew.

In Vanessa's room is another girl, and a guy. The girl's hair is an oddly deep shade of blue, with an incredible hourglass figure, perfect proportions that make Vanessa jealous, the male is a nerdy looking kid, probably 19, his glasses crooked. Vanessa wonders how someone as ugly as him made it to a place like this. She-

"Are you gonna keep staring at us like idiots or are you gonna introduce yourself" the girl interrupts Vanessa's thoughts, snapping her back into focus.

"Yeah, right, sorry, I'm Vanessa, you?" Vanessa says, holding her hand out

"I'm not touching that yet, you have to earn it. The names Mira, this here's Valen" she says, turning to the guy. "He doesn't talk much, I got his name and he's been quiet since. Say, why did it take you so long to get here anyways?"

"I, I don't know. I always get singled out in some way, but I never know why." Vanessa says, looking away and rubbing her arm.

"Oh trust me honey, I can think of two very big reasons you're always singled out" Mira says, gesturing at Vanessa's chest, causing Vanessa to blush wildly.

*Ding dong ding*

"Attention vault dwellers, you have another 2 hours of free time before the mandatory check up and evaluation. Please acquaint yourself with the facilities!"

They all look at each other with confused faces.

"I get the check up, but what are they evaluating us for?" Vanessa says, breaking the silence

"Probably just radiation or something, some of us cut it really close." Mira says.

As the two girls continue to talk, they actually do start to calm down, but Vanessa notices something, valen getting hard, valen sees the girl's stares, and looks away.

"I'm sorry, it just gets like that, I... I can't control it" he says. "It's not even that hard, it's just so hard to hide it"

Mira gives a look of hunger, while Vanessa gives a look of understanding.

"My my, maybe I should help you then" Mira says, making valen back up slightly, but Vanessa gives Mira a small playful push on the shoulder.

"Leave him alone! Besides... I can definitely relate to him" Vanessa says, gesturing to her own chest.

Mira laughs at this, and now she's the only one not flushed or blushing.

"Whatever. You guys got here because you have gifts you don't appreciate, I'm here because I belong here." Mira says, leaving the room.

"Well, I guess we should go check out other stuff too" Vanessa says, shrugging at valen, who nods.

Vanessa now has to decide what to do before her evaluation. (None of these choices truly matter, and they'll all lead to the same evaluation, they're just world building. If you plan on adding something, keep it tense but not sexual, patience is a virtue(sensei wu))
