Meet Scarlet the next day

“I’m back” she spoke into the cell.

“Good. Nice to see you, Scarlet.”

“Yeah,” She begrudgingly dismissed him.

“So did you do it?”

“Do what?”

“Did you check with one of the others?”

“Yeah I did. I talked to Delaney”

“And what did she say?”

“She said you were right, and that she did want it to happen.”

“See? I’m telling the truth.”

“Okay.”

“So do you feel better now about talking to me?”

“I guess…”

“You guess?”

“I don’t know”

“Well you can ask me any question you want. I’d be fine answering it.”

“...How?”

“How what?”

“How does it work?” the room filled with silence

She looked into the slot and into the cell. Falls was clearly contemplating what to say next. He looked her in the eyes and spoke,

“That’s a harder question.”

“Why?”, she asked curiously

“Well, I can try to explain it to you all day. I can tell you how I am able to reach into this 5th dimension and attach myself to you. How I can connect us mentally, but it will never make sense. It’s like doing psychedelics - It's impossible to explain to someone who’s never done it.”

“Why have you never tried explaining it to CAPP or anyone else?”

“I do explain it to people. I do my best, but like I said, explaining it is useless.”

“Why do you stay quiet about it on any footage”

“Let me ask you a question, why would I tell the government about this? So they can do experiments on me?”

“I guess that's a fair point.”

A moment of silence filled the room while Falls considered what to say next.

“Once there was a girl I knew named Autumn. Well- Autumn wasn’t her real name, but she liked to go by it. She was one of Tiffany’s closest friends. One day Tiffany went to her and told her everything I had done to her and everything I was able to do.” Falls spoke slowly as he stared into her eyes.

Scarlet looked away from him for a moment, unsure if she should keep eye contact with him. But then her gaze moved to the camera in the corner of Falls’ room. Even if it was the case that Falls could mind control her only by looking at her, there was a camera in his room. If anything went bad her guards would know and get her out.

“As I was saying, it wasn’t like that. Instead I was just alone with her one night. Tiffany was getting ready in the other room, and we were talking. Eventually, my… abilities… just naturally came up in conversation, so we started talking about it. I asked her eventually if she wanted to do a ‘test drive’ of it, and she said yes.”

“What’s a test drive?”

“Well, I had her stare into my eyes a bit and I said a few nice words to her. Unlike Tiffany, however, it wasn’t Autumn's thing. She just was kinda wigged out by it, and she stepped back from it.”

“Why are you telling me this?”

“I’m telling you this because if you wanted to do a ‘test drive’ I would be happy to do one with you right now. It shows you what I’m talking about, and people have walked away from it before.”
