Chapter 76 by Kougyoku

What's next?

Meet Josh

You drive towards Josh's corporate headquarters building now not fashionably late but extremely late after everything that happened at the garage. Mazl is strong again and she's walking by herself.

"Mazl, how are you feeling?" You ask as you drive, checking in on her.

"Physically? I'm in the best shape of my life. Maybe even better. I feel strong. Mentally? I'm still sorry. I feel bad for what I did to you."

"This just proves the AWIO was wrong. The feeling of regret is not one of a monster. It's from my beautiful wife. I love you. Don't forget it." You say as you pull into the public lot of Josh's corporate headquarters.

"Heh.. not possible, husband. Love ya so much, apparently I gave you my blessing, and now, my strength is yours, and yours, mine." Mazl replies.

You get out the ancient Nokia as you park the car and call Josh. "We're here."

"Glad to hear it. Thought something might have happened to you. Park in the employee garage, I'll buzz you in. Get in the freight elevator and push the button with the letter P. See you soon." Josh replies.

You follow Josh's instructions and soon arrive up at his office. As the three of you enter and the doors to the freight elevator close behind you, Maya is the first to greet you. "Hey Jack! And... Mazl? You look.. good. I'm glad to see you on your feet. Molly, nice to see you again." Maya greets you cordially.

"Heh. Thanks. Wouldn't be like this if it wasn't for my husband here." Mazl replies.

"Well. Apparently, Mazl here is public enemy number one of AWIO. They said if she gets strong again... She'd be extremely dangerous." Josh says.

Mazl grins. "Good to know. But you know something, man? I don't dig ****. Said so when I came through. It was THEM who asked for it."

"Yeah. We know. You're not the only one, as you know by your encounter with Aurora, which is why I sent you to her. A number of Monster girls have... Gone missing. Wiped clean from the books, just like Aurora. It's like she was never here. I suspect what someone at AWIO is trying to do is... Tie up loose ends. They don't want girls like Mazl here airing their dirty laundry." Josh says.
