Follow Up Appt: Lori Allen

Ms. Allen appeared frantic again today for our session. No longer was her hair in the nice tight bun but messy and she spoke in short quick sentences. I had to ask her if she has been experiencing with self medication. She appeared stunned when I brought up the idea of her buying illicit ****, however towards the end of the session narcotics did come up.

Ms. Allen complained that she didn't feel like the diary was helping, she claimed it was creating more immoral thoughts then helping her deal with them. She shared a few passages regarding her neighbor in revealing outfits and I could tell as she read that she was becoming sexually aroused. She began to fidget more, crossing her legs, and small moans left her lips as she described her neighbor in a skimpy bikini applying sun tan lotion. I began to notice physical responses in her body as well, her nipples pressing against the fabric of her t-shirt, the way her voice went up in pitch whenever she said "Simone".

I asked her if she had talked to her husband about any of this but she barely registered his name when I spoke it. She stated that she's seen more of me in the past week than her husband and that he is spending 16 hours a day at the church working. I asked if she was attending any of his sermons, and she stated that she only went for the first one on Sunday, and even then she was getting suggestive pictures from Simone.

She then started asking about if I had to report illegal activity, and when probed she admitted that she had watched Simone undress one morning and was finding it hard not to continually peek out of her window to see. I told her that I wouldn't report unless I felt there was a danger of someone getting hurt, and that while I discouraged the behavior, if her neighbor was doing it within the sight line of her window that technically she wasn't doing anything wrong. During this conversation her phone went off and she looked at it and blushed beet red. She turned the phone to show Simone holding a frozen margarita up to her lips while she winked in her bikini, her generous breasts filling up the bottom of the frame.

At this point I asked Lori what she does with all this pent up sexual frustration. I asked if she and Ian were having sex, to which she nearly laughed at the idea. I asked if she masturbated, and she stated that their religion claimed it was a sin. I asked her what she believed, what she thought she needed, and she nearly broke down. She said she was finding it very hard not to masturbate, and that she felt the pent up feelings were leading to hyper sexual dreams. She stated the night after seeing Simone in the bikini she dreamt of Simone and her kissing in the pool, her lips on her neck, her hands roaming Simone's perfect body, she trailed off then, but snapped back to reality and said she had to change the sheets the next morning due to a large wet spot she had made. I encouraged her to keep a dream journal and to reconsider her opinions on masturbation, informing her that if she doesn't get adequate release from this sexual tension she may be lead astray in her marriage.

While we didn't talk about it much, most of the time was spent discussing Simone, Ms. Allen claims she still wants to make it work with her husband. She just didn't know what to do with him being at the church constantly. I told her to make a surprise visit on a day when the church doesn't have any extra activities. That maybe being in their element again will help with the spark of their marriage, and that hopefully spending more time together will help.

I am also prescribing a medication for her nerves and sexual aggression, hopefully a mixture of estrogen and anti-anxiety medication will help relax her a bit and keep her mind off Simone's amazing body. Whoops now I'm writing about it too, maybe I'll take one of these pill too.
