Max waits for the boss and gets a surprise.

Max pulled on her restraints, quickly learning that they were tied much too tightly to escape from in the little time she had. Looking around the room she was disappointed to find it was filled with little more then worthless boxes. She had little choice but to wait for this 'boss' to arrive.

It wasn't long before the door swung open. Too her surprise a young man and female walked into the room. They could be no older than she was and looked more like street kids than terrorists.

"Max?" the young blonde girl gasped out in shock.

Max glared back at the skinny blonde. That name. She had used it for her cover, and now this girl was calling her by it. She shook her head, this had to be some kind of trick. They were trying to break her.

"What the hell are you doing here."the blonde said moving in closer to Max. "Logan's been worried sick."

Logan?

"Logan?" Max whispered quietly. She tried to remember, but like a name on the tip of your tongue it wouldn't come to her. What the hell kind of game were these people playing she thought.

"He's been looking for you all week. You..." the girl paused noticing the confused look in Max's eyes. "You don't remember do you? What happened to you?"

"Asha, what are you doing?" the young man finally spoke up. Asha's head twisted around.

"I know her... she's a friend. Gimme her clothes,"

The man grabbed the pile of camo gear, passing it hesitantly to Asha.

Asha dropped the clothes on Max's lap before reaching around behind her. With a pop of her knife Max's hands were free.

"Get dressed. I don't know what happened to you but we gotta get out of here." Asha said.

Rubbing her wrists, Max looked down at the clothes on her lap, than back up at this Asha person. This girl was the enemy... But she seemed to know her, she set her free. Confusion poured through Max as she struggled with what to do.
