Max gets into the city.

Thankfully the sector pass was deserted, save for the one lone sector cop who stood leaning against the small office booth. Max didn't even give him a chance to react to her presence. Sneaking up stealthily and knocking him **** before he even knew she was there.

"Sorry buddy," Max muttered as she gently let the mans limp body fall to the ground. Wrong place, wrong time. He would wake up soon and be fine, except for the splitting headache. She didn't necessarily like hurting people, but she couldn't take the risk, not in her condition.

Max quickly left the sector checkpoint and made her way into the city. She needed to find help, someway to cure herself of whatever Manticore had done to her.
