Max fights and wins

“No,” Max interrupted him her playful sarcastic attitude gone. “I know you gotta look tough in front of your boys and all that stupid shit but you need to walk away from this right now. Chalk your loss up to karma for the long list of shitty things you undoubtedly done in your life. “

Julio didn't like Max's suggestion and grabbed her by the back of the neck, his hand tangling in her hair he pulled her head forward towards his. “You cocky little bitch! You're gonna get what’s coming to you.” he nearly spat in her face.

Max winced, “Your choice,” she said between clenched teeth. In one swift motion she lifted her knee, driving it hard into his balls. The look in Julio's face was almost worth the mouthful of spit that splatter against her face as he screamed out in pain. He let go of her hair, his only concern being his balls. Max stepped back, and kicked him in the same knee as earlier this morning. She heard the sickening crack of bone and ligaments. Julio screamed again, then again even louder as that same knee fell to the ground with all of the weight on top of it.

It barely took a second to happen, Julio's two friends barely having time to recognize what was happening. On his knees Julio fell backwards to the man on Max's left. The man on Max's right moved towards her but Max was faster and stronger. She pushed him, harder than he thought was possible. Enough to make him stumble back a few steps.

Max looked up above him at the fire escape, his own eyes followed hers up, first confused how so much power had come from someone so small and second why she was looking at a fire escape almost 5 feet above his head as if she expected it to fall on him. He didn't have time to think anymore as Max charged at him she jumped, planting one foot into his stomach, twisting her foot before launching off him towards the wall. Her foot caught the brick, and she pushed off once again jumping up to grab the rusted ladder. She heard the rusted out lock snap under her weight almost immediately. The heavy metal ladder clanged loudly as it drove down towards the man easily knocking him clean ****.

She didn't even get a chance to marvel at her work before she was grabbed from behind. One strong arm wrapped around her waist another around her neck and lifted her off the ground. Max twisted in his vice like grip, struggling to get free, but with little leverage it was next to impossible.

“You stupid bitch,” he grunted at her as she thrashed in his arms. “Stay still or I’ll-” Max threw her head back, the back of her skull colliding with his jaw. He grunted out in pain and Max saw stars. It wasn't enough to get him to let go but he did stumble forward slightly. Close enough to the wall Max used it, propping her feet against it she pushed back as hard as she could.

Both of them flew back, the man's feet nearly leaving the ground for a few feet before he completely lost his balance and fell onto his back, his grip on Max gone she quickly rolled away from him. Max was on her feet before he was onto his knees.

“I told you idiots.” Max said as she grabbed the man by the back of his jacket, he reached up to grab her but she quickly threw him forward towards the dumpster. He was quick enough to move his head letting his shoulder take most of the damage. Still he cried out in pain and fell back onto his stomach. “I told you walk away.”

Max let him stand, his feet wobbly. She looked at him for a moment hoping he would call it quits but instead he reached behind his back and with a blood-stained grin he produced a small, rusty butterfly knife.

“Now you’ll pay, bitch!” he spat, a crazy glaze in his eyes.

Max shook her head. “You really don’t want to do this…”

But instead of listening to her the man attacked. A wide, sloppy swing that she easily ducked under. She returned with her own, a hard punch to his side then she shoved him against the dumpster, another quick jab to his wrist and the knife slipped from his fingers and fell into a puddle. Then she reached between his legs and with a grunt of her own lifted him off the ground and into the dumpster.

“Gross,” Max yelled as she realized some of the brown grey goo that had been coming from the dumpster had splashed onto her sleeve. She bent down to Julio, wiping it off on his shirt. Then she grabbed his head, making him look at her. “You understand this yet?”

Julio nodded quickly.

Satisfied Max nodded her head. “Good,” she reached into his pocket fishing around until she found his phone. She shoved it into his hand. The man she had clocked with the ladder was coming too, and she could hear the groans of pain coming from the dumpster. “Call an ambulance. You and your buddies need it.”

Max stood up, did her best to wipe off the mud and dirt from her clothes and grabbed her bike.
