Maud delivers the food

The buzzer rings and you press the button on the intercom.

“Hey it’s Maud,” says a voice.

“Come on up,” you say.

Jane had dropped Carrie a text earlier telling her that Maud would be doing the delivery.

You open the door and wait for her to reach your floor. Maud is not what you had been expecting. She’s a petite Japanese woman, probably mid-30s, with jet black hair done up in bunches. She’s wearing a button up white shirt, grey thigh length pleated skirt, and white knee high socks.

“Hi!” she says holding the bag of food up. “Here’s your food.”

“How much do I owe you?” you ask getting your wallet out.

“It’s fine,” she says. “Jane sorted it out. She says she was returning a favour.”

“That’s nice,” you say. “But really she did us the favour.”

Maud is in no hurry to leave. She seems keen to keep chatting with you at the door.

“I guess you both did each other a favour then,” she says. “From what she told me that sounds about right. She seemed pretty pleased with herself.”

You’re not surprised Jane had told her co-worker.

“What did Jane tell you?” you ask. This is getting interesting you think.

“She told me about the game you and your girlfriend are playing and what it led to with Jane. It sounds fun and not just the sex part. I liked how it could lead to anything. I like to think I’m adventurous, but adding the randomness brings a whole other dimension.”

This is getting very interesting you think. You’ve always had a kink for Japanese schoolgirl cosplay, probably fuelled by porn, and now here it was on your doorstep. I bet Jane knew exactly what she was doing.

“How adventurous are you?” you ask.

Maud smiles at you. “I can’t just tell you. You have to toss the coin dummy. But I’m on the clock and I need to head back to the restaurant. Toss it and we can see if I’m coming back later.”

You toss the coin. Heads.

“I’ll see you when I get off shift,” she says and with that she’s back off down the stairs.

You go back into the kitchen and find Carrie. “You are never going to believe what just happened,” you begin.

“Try me,” says Carrie.
