It didn’t take long for the votes to start trickling in. As she watched the counts, she saw the marshmallow one, the barbie one, and the make up her mind thing were about the same. Suddenly an awful idea occurred to her.

“What happens if two choices tie?” she asked fearfully.

“Typically a tie means you get both changes. And you can get more than just two! Sometimes if the changes are incompatible we’re allowed to rework them into one altered change. Like if you’d tied being naked with the bikini change we’d split the difference and make you go totally topless.”

Of course they would do that. The other choices weren’t far behind now and all Erica could do was hope for one of them to pull ahead.

“And this is the part where we ask your favorite and least favorite changes again. Which one is least offensive to your sensitive little self?” Jack taunted.

“Being short would be inconvenient, but at least I wouldn’t be a complete freak. The barbie doll choice sounds like it would have the biggest impact on my life.”

With a zap from the choker she felt herself drop about a foot in height from a modest 5’ 7” to who knows what. At the same time her frame shrunk inwards quickly. She had always felt somewhat lanky compared to the “cute” girls out there and now she found herself with a small waist, narrow shoulders, and an overall lower body mass. She’d be pretty easy to throw if someone wanted to.

“You’re 4’ 10” just fyi. I know you said this was your preferred change, but you’re awfully short now. You might want to carry a box with you from now on.”

“This is what you people get off on? Turning girls into sex dolls with skimpy outfits?!” she said gesturing at her microscopic skirt and her petite body.

“Now, now, there’s no need to insult our audience. They control your changes, you know. Maybe if you’re nice to them they’ll continue to vote for the milder punishments.”

“You’re really going to be boring and pick numbers sequentially? Ok, doesn’t matter to me. Show us what’s in case 4!”

The dove and olive branch that signified the harmony case gleamed as Chrissi revealed the fourth case. This should work in her favor, not that Jack was known for playing fair all the time.

“There you go, you got the harmony case! Now this time we’ve customized this reward to test what you’re willing to do to earn it. There are a few rules. First, you’ll be allowed to go about your life with whatever changes you accrue. The same rules won’t necessarily apply to you if your changes make following social convention impossible. That being said, people will still judge you the same way they would otherwise, it won’t affect their perception of you. That would make things too easy. Second, we’re going to give you the opportunity to earn more cash prizes. For every day you complete the task at hand, you may earn an additional $20,000! And finally, the condition is that to earn the prizes you’ll be duplicated and sent back to live your life while we continue to transform you here.”

“What! You can do that?” she sputtered in shock.

“I assure you we can do pretty much what we want here on Bimbo or Bill-“

“Ok, I get it! How does that even work? You clone me and make one of us do random shit for cash?”

“EEERT! Wrong! We duplicate you as you are now and you, the same you, get to be in two places at once! You’ll be conscious of the cases you pick on the show while experiencing those changes back in your day-to-day. And remember, this is a rewards case, so you can turn down the offer if you want.”

Erica could hardly believe the stuff these people were capable of. She was supposed to go through punishments in front of the audience and in her actual life? And that was supposed to be a reward?! She could use the $20,000 though. She always told herself she’d never go on BoB for the money, but now that she was pulled onto it, what was the harm in earning extra through a little further humiliation? She was going to end up stuck with any changes at the end anyway, she might as well make as much as she could off it.
