Maria was standing behind the counter when she noticed a ring in the case that wasn’t hers. It was all dirty with gunk.
She ran a pawn shop that specialized in jewelry and watches. Bling. Gold and silver too.
There were no customers around so she pulled the ring out of the case and put in the back room to clean later.
