Soon enough the night was over, and aside from old naked Jessica Lutz making an absolute fool of herself at the bar the reunion was a great success.
"Thanks for putting this all together, Mallory!" Katie and Olivia each congratulated her as they left the building.
"No problem, you two have a wonderful night!" cheered Mallory back.
Eventually everyone left and only Mallory and her closest friends stayed behind to clean up after everyone with the Baggio's staff.
"Miss Chapman," a waiter came up to her with a receipt, "everyone's bar tab has been collected, and the grand total is $10,369.52."
"What?!?" Mallory read through each of the items on the almost foot-long receipt. "I thought there was a drink limit!!!"
"Yes, a drink limit for each person - 10 shots or 2 non-spirit drinks. Not a limit on which drinks they could order."
10 shots?! Mallory thought it was 2! There must have been a miscommunication over the phone.
"Excuse me," Mallory flagged down the bartender, "who ordered all of the Royal Salute?"
"That would be the naked guest," the bartender explained, "Jennifer, I think?"
"Jessica," Mallory corrected him as her face grew pale, "and of course it was, that bitch!
I don't know how I'm going to pay for this," Mallory started shaking as she reached for her purse and took out her wallet, giving all three of her credit cards to the staff member. She was always good at paying her cards off on time, but she still had only so much credit that she could just hope to close this tab on the three put together.
