On his way back to his dorm for the night, Makoto felt a buzz in his pocket.

"Huh?" He asked, reaching his hand in and pulling out his E-Handbook.

As he booted up the screen, he saw a notification.

Reality Timer has been installed on your device.

The timer began ticking down in real time.

"...Reality Timer?" He asked, unlocking his handbook and scrolling around his home screen. Sure enough, an app had been installed onto his handbook. "Where did this come from?"

He tapped the icon, which loaded up a simple interface.

Using the Reality Timer is simple. Type in a change to your reality, and then submit. Reality will change to accommodate your input.
Once the timer reaches zero, it will cause a random change. Time can be added or subtracted from the timer depending on user-made changes.

Makoto read through the text, and then hit the "ok" button, which closed the window. The next screen was a simple text box, a submit button, and the timer, counting down from 12 hours.
