Making it to the Mall

The drive into the city was quiet, each and every member of the raid group looked around intensely as they made sure they weren't being watched.

Previously in the crisis, cities were very strictly off limits if you wanted to keep your mind intact. Bimbos filled the streets and buildings as they looked for any survivor left hiding. Now though, as fewer people remain, most of the bimbo population has spread out, leaving the more rural areas more dangerous, but at the same time leaving the cities a bit more manageable to traverse.

Reaching their usual rendezvous spot, the group drives up into a crumbling parking garage just outside the mall. Trix hops out of the truck once inside to close the gate behind them, and after a few moments gives the thumbs up.

"Ah... finally." Kimiko sighs and opens the door, stepping out and taking a deep breath. Amelia notices how much more relaxed she suddenly seems now that they're shut in away from the rest of the city.

Everyone else jumps out as well, quickly getting to work and heading to a workbench. Leah brings over a couple heavy backpacks, opening them up to sort their supplies. While she divides everything up evenly, Riya plots out their destination on the map laid out before them.

The dim lantern shows Amelia that the parking garage is connected to the mall, and that this should just be a quick in and out mission. She frowns a bit, hoping there's a bit more excitement to this than just walking in and out.

Riya clears her throat. "Listen up... we're going to split into two groups to cover more ground. While the unopened store is our priority, there are also a few other stores that haven't been picked clean yet." She looks up to the group. "Leah, Kimiko, can you go scavenge upstairs?"

Leah nods, Kimiko inching closer to her as she's paired with one of the leaders.

Amelia looks over at her friend, before her head turns back to Riya and Trix. "So I'm just gonna be with you two at the main store then?"

Riya gives her a blank stare. "You need a chaperone, and we need more bodies to clear out more supplies. It could be loaded in there."

Their roles are clear, and soon the group finds themselves opening the door from the parking garage into the back of the mall. Riya moves at the front of the group, holding a pistol with a flashlight attached to it as she looks around. Leah moves behind her, followed by the rest.

Without a word, once the group reaches a crossroads, Riya motions towards the stairs. quickly and silently Leah and Kimiko separate and head up, leaving Amelia to follow the others to the shop.
