So what's Condiment wizard up too?
Making an ocean of monsters
Klarion the witch boy took the condiment wizard to the cave inside of a small island. The Condiment wizard looked around, trying to get his bearings, while Teekl walked past him, making for a certain spot in the cave. He seemed to look for it a moment, licking and sniffing random parts of the cage until suddenly he stopped and meowed at Klarion.
"Found the spot already, Teekls. How wonderful!" Klarion said before quickly carving a circle with runes that hurt condiment wizards' eyes to look at. Klarion turned quickly to the condiment wizard. "Hey, new friend, would you mind sharing one of your toys? The one that makes fish? It'll be great for our little game." Klarion said in a happy, childish voice.
Condiment Wizard was confused for a moment, then he realized what Klarion actually meant, which was that he was to power whatever this ritual circle did. He thought on that for a moment and came to the decision that he was good with it. As it meant he was back on his old goal of being the hidden hand, as he doubted his fellow evil wizard would have him power something that was mundane and useless.
"Of course, my friend. Though I hope you'll tell me what it does later?" The condiment wizard hoped that he'd find out at some point what great magic he was actually helping to perform. Klarion simply nodded happily and gave an evil chuckle. The cat Teekl is somehow chuckling along with Klarion in its cat voice. So with the sound of their evil chuckling echoing in the cave, he walked towards the center of the circle. He pulled out his idol wand and began pouring a constant waterfall of tartar sauce into the ritual circle.
The current of tartar sauce was absorbed by the strange ritual circle. Once the tartar sauce was absorbed by the ritual circle, it began putting out strange energy that went into the nearby water entrances scattered throughout the cave. The water frothed and bubbled as the energy went into it. This drew the Condiment wizard's attention and curiosity.
He looked to Klarion with a curious look clear on his face. "Don't you worry; that means it's working. In fact, it's working better than I hoped. You are a great friend to have." Klarion said with a smile too wide for a human face. The Condiment wizard just nodded and focused back on making a waterfall of magic tartar sauce for the ritual circle to continue using.
Klarion walked over to one of the water pools and looked in, his too-wide smile showing teeth as he watched what was happening in the water. Fish with far too many mouths and other unnatural apandages were being born in the waters tainted with chaos and tartar sauce magic. "Yippee, Teekl, we're going to have such fun. " Klarion said excitedly as he looked at the toes he was going to use on the unsuspecting humans nearby.
Teekl didn't answer; instead, the cat watched the fish with a hungry look on its face. Klarion seeing the look spoke quickly. "No, Teekl, I'll get you some nice tuna instead; these fish are for playing, not eating. " Klarion said firmly, the cat giving a frustrated hiss in response. "Alright, Teekls, we'll go get your treat." Klarion said, quickly glancing at the Condiment wizard who was busy with his task.
"He'll be fine," Klarion said to himself, believing he was hidden well and he'd be back soon enough to collect the army building in the water nearby, and when he did that, the goody-two-shoes would be too focused on him to be looking for his friend. "Toodles," Klarion said to Condiment Wizard, who wasn't listening, and disappeared through a portal with Teekl in tow.
So it was that the Condiment wizard kept putting more and more tartar sauce into the ritual circle that combined it with raw chaos, creating monstrosities straight out of mad fishermen's nightmares. The hoard of fish nightmares built up the numbers too great for the underwater caves to hold, and they began leaving in small waves. So without Klarion or Condiment Wizard noticing, the game had already begun, and nearby fishermen were about to play a very dangerous version of tag.
So where are they anyway?
