With those few rules in place, Josh felt he had done the world (and himself) a service. Now, people like him would struggle much less to find people who would be happy in a relationship with them, and now he could spend less time and energy sifting through the dating pool and start having a happy relationship already. As he looked back at the rules, though, he began to feel guilty. With the added rules, sapiosexuals outnumbered geniuses 10:1, which is helpful for him and his friends but kind of sucks for them. For every one that ends up in an ideal relationship, nine would have to settle.
