Make it up to her... But first...

"I'm sorry about that. I promise I'll make it up to you. But I do need to ask two more things"

Weiss braced. She knew what was coming - at least as far as Winter was concerned

"Yes, I'll help you get Winter" she sighed.

Jaune gave her a warm smile, reaching out and stroking her cheek

"Good girl. This next one might be a little harder. So I apologise in advance. Is your mom... Trapped? Can she leave?"

"Like, the marriage?" Weiss sneered "Probably not. I doubt my father would care if she did, but if he lost the company there would be hell to pay"

"But if she left Atlas"

Weiss pondered

"He probably wouldn't even notice as long as she answered his calls. I know she has a couple vacation homes she would..." Weiss caught a knot in her throat "she would run to when things got really bad. And sometimes she'd be gone for almost a year."

"But you love her, right?"

"Of course"

"And you want her to be happy?"

Weiss tensed up

"It's one of my top priorities but... I just don't know how I could manage that."

Jaune smiled at her, holding up the notebook. Her face lit up

"Y-you mean that you could..?"

"You're happy here right? With me?" He said

Weiss still didn't like admitting it. Her pride was still in tact. But honestly since falling under Jaune's control... She was the happiest she had been in years.

"I... I am..." She said, blushing "so... You would be willing to..?"

He had to admit it was a slight risk. He wasn't overly worried about Weiss's dad after what she just said, and worst case he could use the Note on him. Plus, she could definitely afford a hotel long term until he could make more permanent arrangements. The only issue was Ozpin, but he had been an issue for a bit now anyway.

"I would. We'll focus on your sister first though. Yang, when is she coming in?" He asked

"Hm? They said the shipment is tomorrow so... I would guess tomorrow."

"Perfect. Now, for being such a good girl, Weiss, how about that reward?"
