Chapter 5 by jimbobstar jimbobstar

Cliche? Yeah, maybe

Macey is concerned

Macey idly adjusted the strap of her bra that had been digging in to her back all morning. She had been up for a while now, preparing breakfast for her two kids, Justin and abbey.

Turning from the bacon and eggs she was cooking on the stove, she saw her daughter squirming in her seat, forcing her tongue up her nose. God, this girl can be filthy sometimes.

"Will you stop that and come eat breakfast?"

Undoing the apron tied to her waist, she helplessly looked at her daughter that all but ignored her.

"Have you at least seen your brother this morning?" She was beginning to wonder why she even tried.

"Jushteen?" Tilting her head in thought, she must've dislodged something in her nasal cavity because she soon quivered. " Oh, I think I heard him in the shower."

Watching abbey pooling in a mess, Macey didn't know what was up with this girl. Maybe she was going through a phase.

"Well you wait here while I go check on your brother." Taking one parting glance at her daughter, she knew she couldn't keep up with the times.

Planning in her head about the list of things to do for the rest of the day, Macey found herself at the arch of the bathroom doorway. It was still closed.

Listening out for any sounds, she put a ear to the door before hearing silence. Was he on the toilet? That's the logical thought that came to mind when she didn't hear the water running. She questioned herself if she should knock. As far back as she could remember, she didn't put a strangle hold on when it came to modesty and her family's sexuality. If anything, she promoted the healthy idea to be comfortable in one's body and not to be embarrassed about ones biological functions.

That's not to say that she would go anywhere further. She didn't swing that way. Just the idea was abhorred by her. Anyone that would act on such impulses was undeniably certified.

Shortly after these alarming thoughts went through her mind, new ones popped up. What if he's hurt? Just thinking about it sent her mind into overdrive. Trying the knob she found it unlocked. At least he's sensible. That was the one rule she had in this house.

Calming her chaotic thoughts, she ploughed in.

When two points meet.
