Lux Bonteri and Padme Amidala

(All characters have been ages up to be at least eighteen)

It was late at night on Coruscant, Senator Padme Amidala was alone in her apartment. It's only been a few days since her old friend Mina Bonteri was assassinated by Count Dooku. Her son Lux tried to expose him but almost got himself killed. Luckily Ahsoka was there to get to him safety before any his plan of hiring the **** Watch of all things blew up in his face.

Right now Lux is all alone in a fancy apartment not that far away. He's more depressed then angry, which is a good thing.

"I wish I could cheer him up." Said Padme, followed by a sigh.

She wasn't that much older then him but she felt her maternal instincts kicking in. She was a very good friend of his s mother. So maybe she saw Lux as a son now. He didn't have anyone else to look after him. Luckily the Bonteri's family is very well off, so credits weren't a problem. Still he really didn't have anyone else.

"Beside me and Ahsoka." Said Padme, luckily Anakin was off on a long campaign. Which made thing easier, as she didn't trust him around Lux. One because he still some him as a Separatist and two. He had a crush on Ahsoka.

"Anakin would **** Lux to **** if he found out about the crush." Said Padme, sighing.

She knew she had to do something, but what. It took about hour for her to come up with something.

"Maybe spending time with Ahsoka would help. He did like her and she is on Coruscant. Of course the only problem was the council." Said Padme, sighing.

She has respect for most of them but their no attachment rule. She needed a way for Lux and Ahsoka to spend some time together. That should cheer Lux up, thought Padme.

"And if things turned romantic." Said Padme, smiling. She wanted to find a nice guy for Ahsoka. Even if Anakin was against, ( more like a big brother just not wanting his little sister to start dating) kind of way.

"Now how do I get the council to let Ahsoka hang around Lux." Said Padme, as that was the biggest problem.

The best way for that to happen was to have Ahsoka be Lux's "bodyguard" for awhile but to make that happen.

Lux isn't a Republic Senator or something important to the Republic. Probably Dooku wanted him assassinated as well but she had no evidence of any plot.

"I could make something up." Said Padme, it wasn't the first time. A Senator or business man had bribed the intelligent services to falsified evidence to get them extra protection.

"But do I want to something like that." Said Padme, she was one of the few honest senators left in the Republic. If anyone found out, she sighed.

"It's for a good cause, plus if Dooku does try to hurt Lux. Well not only will Ahsoka be there to protect him but it would make it true after the fact." Said Padme, smiling.

She gulped, as she contacted a friend in the intelligent services. It took far less then she expected for them to make up the evidence.

"Now I just have to give the Jedi the evidence." Said Padme, smiling.
