Lust or disdain

A little while later Asuka was running through the crowded school halls, rushing to home room.

I need to hurry. I’m really cutting it close… I’ll have to go to Sonobe later…

In her homeroom, everyone did look at her as she came inside, but not out of any kind of confusion or skepticism. The boys all looked… weirdly excited, while most of the girls looked at him with a slight disdain.

What’s going on? Everyone’s looking at me oddly? And it doesn’t feel like it’s because I’m the new girl.

One of his classmates got up from her desk to greet her this morning, one arm patting him on her shoulder, looking down at her with a very sharp height disparity. “We’re counting on you Asuka-chan!” He said, with seemingly no hesitation.

“Good morning Rui.” Asuka greeted, trying to play it calm.

Rui looked up with a disinterested expression. Was something wrong?

“You need something?” Rui asked coldly.

“Say Rui, do you remember that I was a guy?” Asuka whispered.

Rui bolted out of her seat with a dark expression. “Huh?! How could you be a guy?!” She shouted, unconcerned by their public position and the attention Asuka already seemed to be getting. Rui stepped forward, towering half a head over Asuka now. She grabbed Asuka’s breasts and squeezed them suddenly. “Just look at these huge tits on your chest!”

Asuka couldn’t suppress the slight moan that this brought on. She tried to stay focused, to salvage this.

Was Rui always this tall?

“And you’re even wearing makeup!”

Now that she mentions it, why did I put makeup on this morning?

“Hurry to the infirmary!” Rui barked, turning back to her desk and sitting down with a small thud.

“O-okay. I will…” Asuka said weakly. I guess I’ll rest in the nurse’s office and collect my thoughts.

The nurse looked at him rather strangely. “What’s wrong? You’re cutting it rather close.” She asked before getting up and handing Asuka a pill and cup of water. “Here, take this.”

“What is this?” Asuka asked.

“The same pill as usual. What’s wrong with you?”

What kind of pill is it? Oh well, I’ll just take it.

She wanted to avoid an argument. “I don’t feel so well today, so I’d like to take a rest…”

“You have to call in advance when that happens, remember? The first person’s already here. You can rest later.”

“First person for what?”
