Luna

~~ Author's note: I wrote too many drafts for this. Part of it is my terrible dialogue, part of it is the drafts being deleted by a computer restart, browser crash, and CHYOA just deleting it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If it seems rushed, I had written this simple scene 10 times and was done with it. ~~

Walking the platform, Cassandra spotted Luna Lovegood in a bright pink outfit with the most ridiculous glasses she had ever seen. **** to talk to a friendly face, Cassandra approached the strange girl.

"Hey, do you have any reading material, I wasn't expecting to be this early." Cassandra asked to introduce herself.

"Oh, hey." Luna turned to acknowledge Cassandra's existence. Her soft voice was so soothing to Cassandra. She ruffled through her bag and pulled out a paper. "The Quibbler, my father's magazine." After a pause characteristic for her, she said "I haven't seen you before."

"Yeah, I'm a new Slytherin transfer." Cassandra said awkwardly.

"You shouldn't talk about being a Slytherin" Luna stated with a hint of disappointment while her face remained unchanged. "They are all the mean ones."

"Really?" Cassandra had to use all of her acting ability just to sound a little convincing. "Everyone I've talked to seemed all right. My name is Cassandra by the way."

"Luna's mine" Luna responded. "Look they're boarding now. Do you want to ride with me?"
