Lucky (or Unlucky) Housewife

Emma Watson stood in the kitchen of a modest house years after her fateful fall from stardom. Nobody could have known how her life would have fallen after the Harry Potter movies. Emma had taken time to attend college so she could have a backup plan but then went on to fight for social justice, a huge mistake one could argue.

Emma wasn't sure how it happened, maybe a lack of control, a laps in judgement, or even a unlucky break. There was a huge incident that Emma had played a role in by being one of the most vocal people about it. She should have kept her mouth shut because the court case involved had a woman being accused of ****. Emma in her fight for social justice had fallen into the same trap others have that woman can do no wrong and men were the problem.

The woman in question was found guilty after overwhelming evidence as well as testimonies from several other victims who came out. Emma had demonized the men involved to the point everyone had seen her video. She had then made one video calling it a sham of justice and basically calling them woman a victim of false justice. Men and woman alike did NOT like this and thus Emma's career fell apart. She should have been more mindful at the time but now thanks to her fat mouth almost no one wanted anything to do with her.

She was down on her luck with no job opportunities available, after all no one wanted to hire a hypocrite. That was until one person a man of all things came to her and helped her. Emma was eternally grateful to the man who had saved her from living on the streets. He set her up with a stable job that made good money and was right up her alley, and while not as extravagent as her old days she was living comfortably.

The man, one Lance had been her saving grace and had never asked for anything in return. He was a saint if she had ever seen one, people treated him terribly yet he only smiled and turned the other cheek. Emma had all but fallen in love with him and soon had asked him out. One date turned to five, five turned to 50, and soon came the engagement ring. It was a beautiful time for Emma and thus here she was as she started a business of her own thanks to her husbands aid.

She had made a sort of lifeline for actors and actresses who did not make the cut into show business. Her job provided them with work training and connections to possible job avenues. Life was perfect for Emma Watrson, and despite being a part time housewife she could not be any happier. Right now, she and Lance were talking about having a baby and while Emma was hesitant to be the oven, she wanted to hear the sound of children in their somewhat empty home.

Just then a knock was heard at the door opting Emma to pause on the dishes to see who it was.
