Luckily No

It took me about 15 mins to calm down from panic mode. Realizing I am not chased by anything and no one is at my door step I finally started to think about the situation. What the fuck happened? Am I dreaming? After a few painful pinches on my face I confirmed my worst fear, the situation is as real as it can get. This is when my logical sense finally came back to me. I pulled up my computer and try to check whats going on. The first thing I realized is I have got the date wrong. Apparently I have asleep for almost 36 hours and it is already sunday. Fuck, must be the sleeping pills. But anyways What the fuck happened during this period of time. I got onto the browser but there are no internet connection. Then I realized there is no power. I checked my cellphone and there is no service. Although the cellphone seems to be holding some newsletter I recieved before the power went out. Cold sweat start dripping down my face as I see all the shocking news about a new epidenmic. Apparently half of American have been hit by this mysterious disease, it sprouted from multiple locations at once on the east coast. Those who are infected would first show symptoms of high fever and subsequently become delusional. In the later stage of this disease, the skins of infected individuals will have necrotic symptoms and eventually resulting in sepsis and systemic organ failure. The mortality rate so far have been as high as 98.7%. Also there are unconfirmed reports that many of the bodily functions of the infected individuals seems to continously function after ****. The federal government have ordered an emergency evacuation yesterday and subsequently locked down most of the cities. But currently the situation on the ground is unclear.

I slumped back into my chair. Shit! I must have missed the evacuation, what do I do now? I started desperately search for answers. My efforts were futile with out internet connection. Finally, I found a official text message from the city official. "For those who were not able to evacuate from the cities, please stay put and stock up on food and supplies and stay at home. After successful development of vaccine it will be distributed by air drops in the cities. The water supply will be maintained if possible and occassional air drop of supplies will be made." Well shit looks like I don't have any other way out. Also the question remained, what the fuck is with the shop clerk I saw ealier. I am pretty confident he is not alive. After considering all the possibilities I came to the conclusion that the highest possilb scenario is the disease must be cause some kind of "zombie" symptoms and reanimate the body after ****. I hope I am wrong about my assumptions but better safe than sorry.

After sorting out the situations, I started to plan out what to do next. Assuming water will be running for now my priority is food and daily supplies some medicine would also be nice. Also if my assumption of zombies are true I have to get myself barricaded to avoid possible attacks.
