Lore DLC: Genetic primer

Despite how things may have turned out for men, the human genome has become incredibly complex for the human species as a whole, creating numerous avenues for evolution that benefit the human race, even if only for women or while people live in a normal, everyday society. But this balance can only be maintained if both genders continue to live peacefully and happily together.

• Sure, women can reproduce with other women, but if there are no men to soften the rate of advancing genetics, the rate at which they will start to evolve will slowly become unstable, causing women to eventually evolve to a point where they bodies change at each and every moment into something different to suit the situation, losing the stability and essence of humanity. Without men continuing to slow down the rate of evolution and adaptation to a more human level with a proper basis for form stability, society wouldn't be able to keep up, at least not while still being a society for humans. Sure, women would be fine in such a society, but soon enough, there would be no more humanity. Instead, there would be a myriad of different races that quickly emerged after women evolved into various ways, removing the essence of a human society from our species' cradle.
• As for men, if they didn't reproduce with women, maybe by using artificial wombs or some shit, they would start to degenerate. Without the female weaves to continue enhancing and stabilising their male genetics, males would quickly degenerate into alternative forms that would initially seem like random mutations but develop into different racial groups as those mutation types continue to survive and reproduce. Within 3 generations, genetic abnormalities like hunchbacks or guys with really long talons would become a genetic feature that may or may not be fixed for the kid if they reproduce with an actual woman. The only reason someone might pursue this path is that there is a small but seriously possible chance of a male being born with a pre-change physique. Such a thing is exceedingly rare and unstable, causing all sorts of genetic illnesses and diseases to be commonplace in such males. But, if persistent enough and radical enough against both modern women and the status quo, men would not only create potential variations in genetic forms, creating subspecies, but also suck in women, birthing women with similar but improved versions of males.

It's because of these reasons, although not fully understood and filled with an air of mysticism/belief, that males and females have tried to begin branching off from modern society. Thankfully, these changes aren't a massive thing that happens overnight. Because women would always get pretty decent forms, regardless of genetic mutation, their changes in a female-only reproductive cycle would be incredibly slow and require those with more radical or advanced changes to be selected and bred on a wider scale for such changes. But the same can't be said for men; some groups of guys have already created artificial wombs and begun testing, pumping out all sorts of variations that have yet to be stabilised. They don't yet know that they could birth women with evened-out forms to men or that such genetics would stabilise, but as certain sexist elements continue to indoctrinate others and persist, such knowledge is being unlocked
