What happens as the evening wears on?

Lois Draws Some Attention

Lois finished up the last of her drink and turned away from the bar. She wasn’t sure exactly what was in that last shot but it tasted damn good! Having said that, maybe she should have gotten some water too because it was starting to get awfully hot in the club. But she shook her head and tried not to let it bother her. She had a job to do.

Lois made her way back toward the main area with the dance floor and surrounding seating. Plenty of heads turned to watch the fit reporter for in her tight outfit. It had been a long time since Lois had been so blatantly ogled by this many people. Young guys, older gentlemen, and even some women all tried to undress her with their eyes. And that was before she even made it to a table! Biting her lip, Lois tried to quell the butterflies that were suddenly flying about in her stomach. She was usually much more composed than this. It might have been her imagination but she was feeling a little wet too.

Just as she arrived at her table Lois felt a presence behind her.
