Link helps out through the day, but wakes up in the middle of the night to a strange noise.

The rest of that day, until sunset, Link assisted around the ranch with chores, aside from the ones involving stallions. No matter how much Link insisted it would be fine, and he could control himself fine, Malon refused to budge. Then, once night began to fall, they settled in for the night, and fell asleep.

It was around midnight when Link, who had been sleeping like a horse, standing up, woke up with a start. There had been some odd noise, and Link looked around quickly, for a moment tapping into horse instincts about searching for possible predators. The interior of the home was pitch black, and Link couldn't see anything.

"Sleep." The command came from behind Link, and was filled with some sort of magic that worked immediately. By the time Link had woken up in the morning, he'd forgotten all about the incident.

Morning went by fast. They both went to work, Link working with other livestock while Malon took care of the horses. What neither knew was that mysterious figure from the night before had coated her hands in the same magic that had caused Link's transformation. So, when she reached out to touch the largest stallion in the ranch, to calm him before she entered the enclosure, everything changed. Suddenly, Malon was different. Her upper half was connected to the lower half of the stallion, which was now her body. Not only that, but she no longer looked like a woman, but a muscular man.
