Link and Zelda

To be honest, there are so many takes on this couple that it would be best to split the chapters from here. I mean, geez— there must be more versions of Link and Zelda than there are flavors of macarons! There's the ethereal, regal Twilight Princess Zelda with her brown tresses and modest chest, just as there's a literal pirate version of the same Princess. Link similarly, could view her in so many different ways, from a crush, to a close childhood friend, to some girl he barely even knows.

Maybe the hero of time is chasing after a maiden who won't give him the time of day, or perhaps Zelda's a creepy yandere obsessing over the most popular boy in the mansion? Could they be sappy-sweet lovers who make the other fighters gag with constant PDAs?
