"Okay," Link said, accepting the inevitable. "But can you get this Goron curse off me? Preferably sooner rather than later?" Darunia nodded, and in a flash Link lost the rocks on her back, the flab on her stomach, and the extra height, leaving her a woman of fair beauty and clear strength, a Gerudo through and through.

Once this was done, Link set out on her quest once more, though this time with a little more occasional robbery than was necessary. By the time she had defeated Ganondorf, saved Hyrule, and given the Princess a surprise kiss, she had worked up quite the stash of rupees, and so when Zelda offered to reset time to right before Ganondorf took the Triforce, Link declined. Instead, she worked to rebuild the country with the Princess, using her new wealth for the good of all, as well as for her own personal comfort. She took men and women lovers as she saw fit, including several of the sages and one very embarrassed Princess. All in all, she felt quite happy with how things had turned out.
