Linda the single-minded lifeguard

Linda was the most popular lifeguard on the beach, and not just because of her looks.

Okay, her looks played a big role, but that wasn’t all there is to her.

She is a kind soul who is genuinely interested in people, and in turn people got interested in her. Her biggest problem was her single-mindedness. If something important came up, she’d forget whatever she was doing in the moment.

Which brings us to today.

Just when Linda wanted to change into her lifeguard uniform, she saw a very dangerous loose nail in the bench of the locker room. She actually grabbed a toolkit to fix it herself. Glad that the danger was averted, she went over to her post, forgetting a not unimportant detail of her attire.

People’s eyes nearly popped out of their heads when they saw Linda. Some people briefly considered warning her. Especially since she was not only the kindest person they’ve met, but she saved lives on the daily. But then they thought that this must’ve been a gift from the universe. And if the universe gives you a naked jaw-dropping twenty-seven year old, then by god do you accept a naked jaw-dropping twenty-seven year old!

So they had to stretch this out for as long as humanly possible.
