Like a knight in shining armor

You turn to Josie to tell her you have to try but you see she's already texting some people as she exclaims "Oh it's on, who hustles people on opening weekend!"

You greet your opponents who introduce themselves as "Miranda and Peggy, the Grant Champions." You learn they are the quarterback and center for the schools inaugural women's football team. You swallow your pride a bit as their team forms with some very athletic looking women but Josie seems confident nonetheless.

Moments later Jackie and Amber push through the crowd to join you for the showdown. Jackie and Josie confer quickly and it's clear they actually know volleyball rather well. Amber is eying some of the green colored guys in line behind the football team like they're slabs of choice meat. You're fairly confident that those are the spoils of war already gained by Miranda and Peggy, just waiting for their final punishment. Amber approaches Miranda and the two discuss something. Some sort of additional deal appears to be made as the two shake hands, both looking please with themselves.

Jackie and Josie finish talking and they position everyone quickly for the game. It become clear quickly why Elsie and Kevin lost as Elsie is just not very good at the sport. Kevin's height helps him dominate the net he struggles with bumps and sets. Amber holds her own when she's not being distracted by the prize meat on the sidelines. Josie and Jackie are absolute aces though and their chemistry here matches that on the court. You quickly learn to set the ball to them and the strategy has worked well and has brought the game to the final set. A large crowd has gathered to watch and side bets seem to be flowing with collars and keys seemingly be the currency of the night.

The last set is intense as the football team tries their best to target the weak links of your team. The final set score is at 15-14 with Josie serving for your term. Win the point, and you win the match. Lose and the serve goes to the football teams best server Miranda.

Josie serve and almost aces but the ball is saved and returned. It goes back and forth and the ball for awhile and the ball comes your way. It's at an odd angle and you won't be able to set it to Josie or Jackie like you have been. You can either set Kevin, or try to be the hero and hit the ball over the net yourself...
