Letting Her Think About Things

I escorted her to the Theft Prevention Office, “Just have a seat in here and I’ll be back after taking preliminary reports from the perfume counter!” Sure I gave her a hint of why I detained her but I thought she ought to come up with a doozy of a story if she had a chance to think about one!”

I just closed the door when Mr. Darrow came along, So i told him what happened and who’s sitting in the office waiting for me Mr. Darrow just raised his left eyebrow. “I don’t recall any faculty member of Carlow coming down to do an investigation of their own about a student’s actions!”

Mr. Darrow paused , then he asked the million dollar question. “So how do you plan to conduct this one?”

“Well, I don’t want to lose Melissa and I damn sure don’t want a nosy Coach to cock block me, So only one option, make her another relation!”

“Well don’t let me stop you, you dog, just remember if you screw up it’ll be more than your job you’ll be risking!” Giving me a smirk, “I tell you what I’ll give all the time you need by going to a certain secretary and renewing our relationship!”

As he went to his ‘relation’ I wonder why he never spoke about it before now? I began to wonder just how many ‘relations’ he has with the staff and customers?. A fast check of my watch and I felt that Coach Turnball had more than enough time to think about the situation I put her in.

I opened the door just enough so I could see that she was sitting in a chair. A pair of those ‘ripped’ jeans on that so many university students were wearing. The top three buttons of her tan, sleeveless shirt were open affording me a slight hint of the cleavage inside.

Her eyes were closed as if she was trying to calm herself down before I confronted her.
